Assignment:

Complete the following workplace activities demonstrating skills and knowledge to analyse consumer behaviour for markets and specific needs:

1. Access Café 65 (Simulated workplace) documents including policies and procedures provided to you on college learning and management system (LMS) and use the marketing plan and relevant policies and procedures to undertake this task.

2. Read the case study in appendix and analyse its information to identify two different types of consumers their attributes for market from market profile and existing customer data.

3. Develop a comparison of features of product or service according to marketing plan and identify specific product and/or service to analyse consumer behaviour for.

4. Read the case study and investigate consumer needs for the product and service through analysis of trends and past performance and identify at least two consumer needs.

5. Analyse the scenario and identify at least two consumer responses to previous marketing communications.

6. Review relevant data from the case study and determine consumer digital footprints, engagement journeys and expectations.

7. Conduct assessment of organisational capability using appropriate digital tools (computer and software) to access data and determine how you respond to consumer demand for products or services.
