You have recently been employed by a large civil engineering company. The company have been working with a client who has several possible projects under consideration. For a given civil engineering project: (agreed with tutor)

(ii) Propose a suitable solution to the problem, demonstrate how the environmental, geotechnical, quality and economic contexts of the problem are addressed and justify the selection of specific features in the development of the solution.

Your manager has given you a specific project to work on, (tutor to provided infrastructure project details)

(i) Describe methods and techniques used in highway design and techniques used to create bridges such as : Analysing methods and techniques used to create bridge foundations, flexible highway construction foundation criteria and related geotechnical parameters, methods and techniques used to create flexible highways, methods and techniques used in highway link and junction design and describe flexible pavement design.
