Business Plan Assignment -
Research, prepare, critically analyse, and present the findings of a Business Plan. The plan will be 4,000 word approx. The module will act as a capstone module and allow the integration of knowledge, skills, competencies and experiences generated by involvement in all of the modules across the curriculum.
The project will require the students to develop a detailed business plan for a potential new business in a sector of the economy which has been identified as having the potential for high growth. You will be required to:
Provide evidence, derived from government reports and similar sources, that their chosen industry sector has high growth potential.
Draw reasonable conclusions from their analysis.
Prepare a well-structured report properly referenced.
Present a coherent and convincing argument in favour of their proposal.
Pitch their business idea to industry representatives.
Defend their position in a question and answer session.
