Question: Communication Plan for a New Product
Develop a 4-7 page business communication plan for two markets: domestic and international.
A communication plan describes what an organization wants to accomplish with the information it sends out. It lists objectives, the tools used to produce communications and intended recipients. The plan formally defines who should be given specific information, when that information should be delivered and what communication channels will be used to deliver the information.
1. In your introduction, describe your product/service in detail, describe the objective of your communication plan, what you want to accomplish by implementing this plan, who your intended recipients are and when your product is to be launched.
2. Research at least two marketing communication channels available for both the domestic and international markets and present statistical data from that research.
3. Explain how you plan on using the channels you researched, when that information should be delivered to your targeted audience, how often, and what outcome you expect from using these channels.
4. Anticipate some of the positives and negatives of the plan and identify how you will handle both.
5. Discuss the reach of each communication channel and how you expect these communication channels to profit the business.
