A 0.75 kg block is attached to a spring on a frictionless horizontal surface. The block is pulled to stretch the spring by 15 cm, then released. It then undergoes a simple harmonic motion. As the block passes through the equilibrium position, its speed is 2 m/s.

Find:

(a) the spring constant (in N/m)

(b) the block's period of oscillations (in sec)

(c) the speed of the block (in m/s) at the point where the spring is compressed by 8 cm

(d) the maximum acceleration (in m/s^2) the block has during oscillations.
