Blue Angels are planning to fly at air show in the area known for suddenly developing bad weather conditions. In reviewing past weather conditions for area, they observe that there is large fluctuation in wind velocity in area prior to development of unsafe flying conditions. They conduct the analysis to see if there is relationship between wind velocity two hours before preceding air shows and degree to which area was later rated as safe for flying. (1=most safe and 10=least safe: flight safety emerges in rank order as allocated by local weather officials and measured on ordinal scale)
