An Ice cube tray contains 185 grams of water at 25 degree c.It is cooled until the water freezes ar 0 degree c and then the ice is cooled to -8.5 degree c. How many joules of energy were released by the water during this sequence of changes.? The specific heat of ice is 2.06 j/gK and the molar heat of fusion of water is 6.01 kj/mol.
