Streptococcus pneumoniae is sampled at various temperatures every 10 minutes. These temperatures are 40, 50, 60, 70, and 80 degrees Celsius. At the starting temperature of 40 degrees Celsius, there were 60 CFU and ½ is lost at each new temperature interval. This death rate is constant for each temperature change.
