In a hypothetical situation, a daughter has a "horrible" looking nose which she inherited from her mother, it is an autosomal trait. The daughter decides to have a "nose job, plastic surgery" and now the daughter has a "beautiful"nose. This daughter with the "beautiful" nose later has a child (daughter).

a. Could the child (daughter) inherit the "horrible" nose from her mother?  Why or why not?

b. Could the child (daughter) inherit the "beautiful" nose from her mother? Why or why not?

c. If the daughter has a son, could he inherit the "horrible" nose from his mother? Why or why not?

d. If the daughter has a son, could he inherit the "beautiful" nose from his mother? Why or why not?
