Determining the electron transport chain

You work for EvilCorp developing new poisons. You created a toxin that binds to a protein in the mitochondrial electron transport chain. If a person ingests the poison it is quickly absorbed into cells throughout the body. The poison alters the electron transport chain protein such that, when the protein receives an electron it remains stuck. The electron cannot be released to continue through the electron transport chain.

A) If you treat a cell with the toxin does the amount of ATP being made by that (now poisoned) cell decrease? Explain your answer.

B) If you treat a cell with the toxin would you expect the amount of NAD+ in the (now poisoned) cell to decrease? Explain your answer.
