Consider the distribution of Asian blood types. Assume we are sampling from the Asian population. If we were to randomly select 10 people of Asian descent, what is the probability that exactly 6 of them have an O+ blood type? Hint: The binomial distribution applies here. We can call a single success "getting an O+ blood type" and a failure would be getting any other blood type. You may use Excel to answer this question. Note: I am not implying that blood types follow a binomial distribution. Our experiment, however, does follow a binomial distribution since we can label our outcomes as successes or failures, and the other conditions of a binomial experiment are satisfied.
