-Jeffrey's partner, Hector, mistakes the cactus for a fake plant and puts it in a window-less closet because the cat kept playing with it. Jeffrey finds the plant one month later, and it is still alive! Left any longer, it would have perished. What did the plant rely on in the dark to stay alive for so long?

-Would you expect the plant, after one month in the dark, to weigh more than 60.2 grams or less? Note that cacti plants needs very little water to survive so even after one month it would not experience major water loss.
