In a study of 1228 randomly selected medical malpractice lawsuits, it is found that 856 of there were later dropped or dismissed (based on data from the Physician Insurers Association of America).
a) Construct a 99% confidence interval estimate of the proportion of medical malpractice lawsuits that are dropped or dismissed.

2. A recent Gallup poll consisted of 1012 randomly selected adults who were asked whether "cloning of humans should or should not be allowed." Results showed that 89% of those surveyed indicated that cloning should not be allowed.

Does it appear that an overwhelming majority of adults believe that cloning of humans should not be allowed?
Assume if random samples of size n = 9 are selected can we say anything about the distribution of sample means.
List all samples of 3 and compute the mean of each sample. Compute the mean of the distribution of sample means and population mean. compare the two values
(a) State the hypothesis for a right-tailed test. (b) Obtain a test statistic and p-value assuming equal variances. Interpret these results. (c) Is the difference in mean scores large enough to be important?
Create the table for frequency distribution that has 16 class intervals of width 1 inch. Utilize 61.5 inches as lower limit of first interval and 62.5 as upper limit.
To demonstrate the process is in control or out of control utilizing p-chart. A company which produces nails has retained you as a consultant.
