1. What are some of the factors that are most important in determining internal alignment?

Factors in determining internal alignment are executive commitment and support that is crucial in setting the correct tone and direction for supply chain sustainability, integrated policies, strategy and structure of a company to a particular position or level of skills, consistency of internal communications. Number three is meaningful Information, metrics and reporting and lastly the incentives and accountability for desired behaviors and outcomes.

2. How is internal alignment related to fairness and how does it impact turnover?

Internal alignment is related to fairness since it help the company in terms of compensation plan for a particular position, it is a related to fairness in a way that the pay scale will be depends upon the jobs, skills and competencies in an organization, it also forms a pay structure that can support the workflow or processes that is fair to employees and directs their behavior towards organizations objectives and goals.

3. Give an example from personal experience, research or observation of a company with effective strategic internal alignment. How can this information help you as a leader?

Based on my experience as I worked for many different companies such as high-end establishment and based on my observation , internal alignment strategy will help the employees and company in concluding the value of their job or task that is accountable for a specific position, For example as newly trained employee, i have a rate the is for entry level and at the same time my job description really fits to what or how much i compensated by the company and as time passed and been promoted to a much higher position from entry level to rank and file down to managerial level, my salary together with my task assigned was changing to a heavier task as a manager to monitor and direct my subordinates in their jobs and at the same time i had a higher compensation as my level of position became higher with additional benefits from the services that i incur to the daily operation.
