Assignment:

Unified cell theory states that the cell is the building block of all life, with all living things consisting of one or more cells, and all cells arise from previously existing cells. As a result, the way we classify organisms at the highest levels (taxa known as Domains and Kingdoms) is based on the structure of their cells.

Imagine that you are miniaturized to a size that enables you to explore within and around a cell. Your eyes now have the capability of seeing things at the level of the best microscopes, and your other senses enable you to distinguish the chemical structures of the molecules you might encounter.

. How would you go about determining whether you are in a eukaryotic or prokaryotic cell? What would you go exploring to find?

. What things would you find that wouldn't be useful for helping you make this determination?

. Properly cite any references that you use to support your ideas (you should use at least one source).
