For the purpose of thinking about the genetics of the cross you've made, call the two microsatellite markers A and B. You can then designate the alleles A1, A2, A3, and A4 for the A allele and B1 through B6 for the B marker.

In this cross, you are mating two different fathers to a single mother. If you planted out all of the seeds that results from this cross and determined the genotypes of all the offspring, what is the LEAST number of different genotypes that you could find among the progeny?
