Question: Among the precious metals, platinum is the rarest and heaviest metal. It is a lustrous metal with silver-white colour; this colour never fades out. The main characteristic that makes it well suited for jewellery is its high resistance to corrosion and tarnishing. Being one among the noble metals, it is highly resistant to corrosion and oxidation. It is stable at high temperatures too. When compared to other precious metals, platinum has more strength and durability. but the market rate should be determined on the basis of consumer needs which is gold and why platinum rate not falling?
