Question: An engineer is tasked to design a feasible conveyor system from several options available. A closed loop overhead conveyor is tasked with delivering parts from one load station to one unload station. The specified flow rate of parts that must be delivered between the two stations is 600 parts per hour. Forward and return loops will each be 90m long. The conveyor has carriers. Conveyor speed-0.5m/s.
