Case Study: The patient is a 56 year old male who has a BMI of 32 and suffers from hypertension. The patient presents to his primary care physician with the chief complaint of excessive daytime sleepiness, which he experiences almost every day of the week. The patient presented to his physician's office with his wife, who stated multiple times that her husband snores loudly every night of the week. She also stated that she gets extremely worried at times because her husband seems to stop breathing at random times throughout the night and tends to wake up suddenly gasping for air. The physician then asked if the patient has ever fallen asleep while driving and the patient replied, "No".
