One group of 150 men receives the BP-Drop drug daily for the duration of the 3 month experiment. 100 of these men experienced decreased blood pressure by at least 10%.

Another group of 150 men received a placebo pill (no active BP-Drop drug) for the duration of the 3 month experiment. 10 of these men experienced decreased blood pressure by at least 10%.

Select all the statements that are true for this experiment.

1. Two of the controlled variables in this experiment are the age and gender of the test subjects.

2. The control group in this experiment is the group of men that received the placebo pill with no BP-Drop drug in it.

3. A good hypothesis for this experiment is "What is the effects of the BP-Drop drug on men?"

4. "The BP-Drop drug does lower blood pressure in men ages 50-70" is a conclusion supported by the results of this experiment.
