Question - Gill worked full-time for his employer for almost 2 years before deciding to resign. His vacation entitlement was accrued during his tenure and was based on two weeks, during his first year of employment and that entitlement was increased to three weeks, effective June 1st 2018.

Gill had taken only two weeks of vacation, during the summer of 2019.

The vacationable year of the company is designated from June 1st to May 31st.

Year-to-date earnings were as follows;

June 1, 2017 to May 31, 2018 = $15,550 (employment start date Dec 1, 2017)

June 1, 2018 to May 31, 2019 = $38,600

June 1, 2019 to May 31, 2020 = $9,440 (employment end date Sept 30, 2019)
