Because managers and supervisors at Starbucks expressed concerns about employees' customer-service skills, Write a report that provides information about the customer service practices at other businesses that are similar to Starbucks to determine what skills should be emphasized and what procedures should be put in place. Then offer suggestions for putting the best ideas into practice.
Step 1:
Find three sources from the Leeward CC library databases to use in your report. The sources should help you either gather and present information about the issue or problem and/or help you come up with recommendations. Leeward CC Library database sources are a required part of the report.
In addition to those three sources, you may also use information from no more than two websites. Using websites is an option. It is not a required part of the report. If you choose to use one or two websites as sources, please use the CRAAP test to evaluate them.
Step 2:
Write a 1000 - 1250 word draft of the report. Review Parts of a Report for more about content and format requirements for each part. And, look over the Sample Report to see a completed report.
The report should include
a title page
a table of contents
an executive summary
an introduction paragraph that explains the issue or problem
body paragraphs that elaborate on the issue/problem. Use evidence from your sources to help support your ideas about the issue/problem. Use in-text citations to show where you are using evidence. Body paragraphs should be presented in sections as demonstrated in the sample report.
your recommendations for solving the issue/problem
a conclusion
works cited page in MLA format (not included in report's word count)
an appendix section if necessary.
