A 12-kW, 120-V dc series generator has a series field resistance of 0.05 Ω. The generaated emf is 135V when the generator delivers the rated load at its rated terminal voltage. What is the armature resistance? If the load is reduced 80% of its rated valued at the rated voltage, what is the induced emf in the armature? If the generated emf is 130V and the generator is supplying 4.167kW, what is the terminal voltage?
