An isotropic antenna is radiating a total power of P0W. A receive antenna is located 2km from the radiator. It has a gain described by the equation with loss factor and an effective aperture of Aer1=600cm2 . How far away can a second antenna with and effective aperture Aer2=1.0m2 be located so that both antennas receive the same power at their output terminals?
Compute the gains of the two antennas for the case where the transmitter frequency is 800MHz. What are the gains if the transmit frequency is 1.9GHz?
