A spring loaded toy is used to shoot a 3g ping pong ball straight up against air. The ball's maximum height is 5m in air and 16m in vacuum (when air resistance can be ignored). What is the work done by air resistance? If the spring is initially compress 5cm, what is the spring constant of the toy?
