Using Bingham plastic and Power law models, determine the various pressure drops, nozzle velocity and nozzle sizes for a selection of 14.25 inch hole. Two pumps are used to provide 650 gpm. Data is as follows

Plastic Viscosity=11 cp.

Yield point = 12.5 lb/100 ft2 .

Mud Weight = 9.8 lb/gallon.

Drill pipe ID = 5.276 inch.

Drill Pipe OD = 6.5 inch.

Length = 6,580 ft.

Drill collars ID = 4.875 inch.

Drill Collars OD = 11 inch.

Length = 680 ft.

Last casing used was 14.375 inch with an ID of 13.565 in. 14.375 in casing was set at 2,650 ft. The two pumps are to be operated at a maximum standpipe pressure of 2,200 psi.
