Two DC machines of the following ratings are required:
1. 120V, 1500 RPM, 4 poles
2. 240V, 1500 RPM, 4 poles

Coils are available which are rated at 4 volts and 5 amps. For the same number of coils to be used for both machines determine the type of armature winding for both machines, number of coils for both machines and kW rating of both.
