A process requires a conveyor to index cans 2.0 in. in 0.12s and dwell while a cover is pressed onto a can. The cap head must travel 3.0 in. to approach the can. The entire cover pressing stroke should take 0.25s. Determine the time ratio and crank speed of the mechanism. Also, sketch the synchronized timing charts and estimate the peal velocity and acceleration of the different motion elements.
