Consider the propeller-driven general aviation aircraft in steady turning flight. Is it possible that the aircraft can remain in steady level turning flight with an airspeed of 95 ft/s, a climb rate of 6 ft/s, and a turn radius of 1,400 ft at an altitude of 5,000 ft? In other words, is this flight condition in the steady turning flight envelope? If this flight condition is in the steady turning flight envelope, determine the throttle setting, the elevator deflection, and the bank angle required to maintain this flight condition. If this flight condition is not in the steady turning flight envelope, which constraints are violated?
