The arrangement above is in static equalibrium. The beam has a length L=2.20 m and a mass MB=25 kg. The angle theta is 30 degrees. The hanging sign has a mass MS=28 kg.

a. draw and label (on the diagram above) the forces on the beam.

b. using the parameters(sybols not values) from your diagram, write down the three conditions(equations) for the static equlibirum of the beam.

c. determine the tension in the cable and both the horizontal and vertical componetns of the force that the hinge applies to the beam.
