Marketing for Health Care - Marketing Research and SWOT Analysis

The team project entails developing a comprehensive health care marketing plan. You not only gain a basic knowledge of marketing plan components, but also understand how and why each component is essential to the success of a marketing plan. Placing the basic marketing terms in the context of a real-life example helps you better conceptualize the role of the four Ps, business partnerships, and target market characteristics in health care marketing.

Choose an existing organization, such as a diabetes clinic, cardiac rehabilitation center, prenatal clinic, or hospital.

Write a 1,050- to 1,400-word paper on the organization of your choice. Include the following in your paper:

1. Describe the four Ps (product, price, place, promotion) and explain how and why they are important to the success of the selected organization.

2. Examine the relationship between the organization's marketing and its partnerships. Explain how and why those partnerships are valuable to the organization.

3. Determine the target market, including demographics, psychographics, and data from the general area in which the organization is located. Explain why understanding target market is vital to a successful marketing plan.
