SUPPLY CHAIN MANAGEMENT

Determine the supply chain of an item that can be purchased through the Internet and identify a company that manufactures or retails this item. What revenue model is this company using for e-commerce?

Publishers will have to coordinate with various levels of suppliers including authors to produce the book. The production companies will have inputs such as inks, commercial grade printers, papers, warehouses, equipment, human resources and distribution trucks. They will also include a distribution network from the production site to retailers (Amazon). Amazon will control the supply chain from their warehouse to my home.
