Problem- For the following three coals burned in large electric power plants, determine the so2 emisson rates (ib/million btu) and scrubber efficiencies (%) required under federal NSPS's

a) 4.0% S and 10,000 Btu/Ib

b) 2.25% S and 13,000 Btu/Ib

c) 1.0% S and 15,000 Btu/Ib

-If coal (b) is burned in 40%-efficient 400-MW plant, estimate the allowable rate of SO2 emissions (Kg/day) under federal NSPS'S
