(b) Determine the small-signal voltage gain of the designed circuit.

Problem 3 - Consider the circuit shown in problem one figure. Assume R1 = 33kΩ and R2 = 50 kΩ. The transistor parameters are β = 100 and VA = ∞. Determine the maximum undistorted swing in the output voltage if the total instantaneous E-C voltage is to remain in the range 0.5 ≤ vEC ≤ 3V.

Problem 4 - For the transistor in figure, β = 80 and VA = 150 V.

(a) Determine the dc voltage at the base and emitter terminals.

(b) Calculate the small-signal parameters gm, rπ, and ro.

(c) Determine the small-signal voltage gain and current gain.

(d) Repeat part (c) if a 2kΩ source resistor is in series with the vs signal source.
