The rotor with the steel gears shown in Fig. 10.34 was dynamically balanced in a balancing machine by the addition of the clay masses shown on the periphery of the gears. However, the balancing is to be achieved by drilling holes in the webs of the gears at the diameters shown. Determine the size and location of the holes for dynamic balance.
