A horizontal stream of water is directed at the windscreen of a truck , as shown in the drawing.The flow rate of the water is 8 litres/s and the diameter of the nozzle is 50 mm. The water strikes the windscreen and is deflected upwards at an angle of 40o,as shown .recall that 1 litre=1000 cm3 and water has a density of 1000 kg/m3.State any additional assumptions made.Determine the resultant force in N that the water stream exerts on the windscreen for two cases.

(a) If the truck is stationary ,V truck=0.

(b) If the truck moving at a constant velocity Vmax=5 m/s in the direction shown.
