The duct between the turbine and the exit nozzle of a motor is 0.6 m diameter. The gas has a stagnant pressure and temperature of 275 kPA and 700 K respectively. The mass flow rate of the gas is 82 Kg/s. Determine the relevant nozzle areas to expand the gas to standard atmospheric pressure. Calculate the force required to maintain the nozzle in the duct. The gas has k = 1.4 and R = 265 N.m/Kg.K./
