Two identical particles move under the influence of a central force, for which the potential energy function is V(r) = ? (k /r) (1 ? ?a/r), where ? = 0.254. Each particle moves on a circular orbit. The orbit radii are r1=a and r2=2a; i.e., in the ratio r2/r1=2.
