Question: In a distil Jation process 550 lbm/h of a benzene, toluene, and water mixture is fed to the distiller. This feed contains 2.0(101 )% toluene. The distilled product is 93% benzene and 7.0% water. The waste contains 35% water and 1.0(101)% benzene. Determine the rate of production of the distilled product and the percentages of benzene and water in the feed.
