A double pane insulated window consists of two 1cm thick pieces of glass separated by q= 1.8cm layer of air. The unit measures 4m in legnth and is 3m in width. Under conditions where the extreme outside temperature of the glass is at 10 C and air, at 27 , is adjacent to the inside glass surface, with hi= 12 W/m^2K. Window glass has a k of 0.8 W/mK. Thermal radiation is to be neglected.
