Consider a heat exchanger. Air is used to heat the liquid water. The entering air temperature is 350deg C and entering water temperature is 20degC. The water is heated to saturated vapor at 1.5MPa. The mass flow rate of air and water are 30kg/min and 1kg/min respectively. Heat exchanger is not well insulated and thus 10% of heat transferred from air is lost to the surroundings. Determine:

a. The rate of heat transfer from the air;
b. Air exit temperature.
