Hot water at 90C enters a 15-m section of cast iron pipe, whose inner diameter is 5.3 cm, at an average velocity of 0.65m/s. The outer surface of the pipe is exposed to the cold air at 10C in a basement. If water leaves the basement at 88C, determine the rate of heat loss from the weather.
