Assignment: The Great Pyramid Project of Giza
Looking for some assistance with the following:
Project Scope Elements
A. Out of scope items can be included in this section to delimit what is not included in the project. This helps provide clarity and prevents scope creep.
B. Project Deliverables: There are two methods for providing these deliverables: (1) Work Breakdown Structure in outline form or (2) a separate deliverables list (especially if there are numerous or detailed deliverables).
C. High-Level Requirements are sometimes referred to as the business requirements that should be included in the project deliverables in order for the organization to realize the long-term business value (See 1.6 Business Value in the PMBOK Guide).
D. Design Selection Criteria: This identifies information that may be used to compare different designs. The pharaoh has already conducted a preliminary design assessment as part of his Royal Advisor Design Feasibility Study, however; the PM requires you to substantiate the findings by developing your own design selection criteria that will be used for the final design selection as part of this charter.
E. Acceptance criteria (document addendum). The acceptance criteria can be used to determine the project selection or design options. In using these criteria, the following questions should be addressed:
F. Is this a mandated project? Answer Yes or No. Describe the rationale.
G. Describe how this project aligns with the organization's strategic or business strategies.
