A rectangular chip has a top surface of 0.5 cm by 2 cm cooled by air at 20 oC with h = 150 W/m2.K. There are also 16 connector pins, 1 mm wide, 0.5 mm thick, 6 mm long and k = 60 W/m.K attached to a circuit board at 30 oC. If the surface temperature of the chip is not to exceed 80 oC, determine

a. The power dissipated by the top surface of the chip
