A block with mass m = 0.1 kilogram is located on a wedge inclined at an angle theta = 30o above the horizontal. The block slides down the wedge towards a spring with spring constant k = 5 n/m which lies along the wedge, initially at a distance of L = 30 centimeter away. The static and kinetic friction between the block and wedge are us = 0.7 and uk = 0.4.

1. Determine the position of the block when it first comes to rest?

2. Once at the position, does the block remain at rest? Explain.
