Bin Inc. makes two products: A and B. In total 6,000 machine-hours are available for making both products. There are also 5,400 person-hours available for painting the products. Products A requires 4 hours per unit on both machines, while product B requires 8 machine-hours per unit and 6 painting hours per unit. The company has orders for 220 units of product A. Product A contributes $3.50 to company profits while product B contributes $4.75 to company profits. The company wants to find out the amount of A and B that should be produced.

Required:

a. State the objective function and the constraints related to this linear programming problem.

b. Graph the constraints, determine the points that make the feasible region and the optimal number of A and B. Show all calculations.
