Question- A particulate matter dispersoid of 1000 spherical particles with a density of 2.5 gm/cm^3 contains 300 1 micro-meter particles, 300 10 micro-meter particles, and 400 40 micro-meter particles. An air pollution control device is 10% efficient on the 1 micro-meter particles, 50% efficient on the 10 micro-meter particles, and 90% efficient on the 40 micro-meter particles. Determine the overall control efficiency with respect to number of particles and particle mass.
