For construction of an embankment, the soil is transported from a borrowed area using a truck which carries 5.5 m^3 of soil at a time, with the following details: For the Borrowed Pit: bulk unit weight= 16 KN/m^3 and moisture content = 6.7% ; For Truck (loose): bulk unit weight = 10.7 KN/m^3 , moisture content 5.2% ; For Field (compacted): bulk unit weight = 19.3 KN/m^3 , moisture content = 14% Determine the number of truck loads required to obtain 150m^3 of compacted earth fill and the volume of the borrowed pit.
