A hospital needs to determine the number of nursing FTEs it must employ. Based on analysis of their requirements they have determined that the estimated time is 9,500 minutes per day. Their target for utilization is 85%. Concerning these nurses they receive 10 sick days per year and fourteen vacation days per year as well as 12 holidays per year. How many FTE’s are required?
