Problem 1: An amplifier is observed to have an output noise rms-voltage of 1.0 μV. If the noise bandwidth is 25 kHz, determine the noise spectral density of the amplifier.

Problem 2: A piezeoresistive sensor has a thermal noise density of 5 nV/ and a 1/f corner frequency of 6 kHz. Calculate the total sensor noise, vrms, if the frequency band of interest ranges from 1 Hz to 15 kHz and |Hpk| = 1. Note that thermal noise and 1/f noise are uncorrelated.

Problem 3: Determine the input-referred noise and the signal to noise ratio of the amplifier system shown below. Assume vs,rms = 25 μV.

Problem 4: Calculate the SNR of the individual amplifier stages in Problem 4 for an input signal of vs,rms = 25 μV. Based on your answers, how should the amplifiers be arranged to result in the lowest possible input-referred noise?
